Directions
Step 1 - Bake 14 ‘Bonfire’ Graham Crackers
Mix flours, sugar, salt, cinnamon, and baking powder in a large bowl.
In a separate bowl, whisk egg and add oil, honey, and milk.
Add egg mix to a large bowl and stir until combined into a dough.
Wrap dough in plastic wrap and refrigerate for about 1 hour.
Roll out dough on floured work surface until 1/16” thick.
Shape crackers with ’Bonfire’ cookie cutter (included).
Poke holes in cookie with a fork.
Bake 12-14 min 375º F until golden!
Step 2 - Mold 7 ‘Bonfire’ Chocolates
Microwave 2.5 oz of chocolate discs for one minute. Stir.
Repeat until chocolate reaches a syrupy consistency.
Add a few (3 - 4) extra chocolate discs and mix them in until they melt (to cool down the chocolate).
Place the ‘Bonfire’ mold on a flat surface and pour the chocolate into the mold, guiding it with a spoon.
Lay mold flat in the fridge, chocolate side up, for 30 mins until solid.
Make sure the chocolate is solid and remove gently from the mold. Set aside.
Step 3 - Attach the chocolate to 7 crackers
Melt a few extra (5 - 6) chocolate discs. Spread a little on top of each cracker as ‘glue’.
Place ‘Bonfire’ chocolate directly on top of the cracker and align.
Press lightly together.
Step 4 - Make s'mores!
Roast marshmallow on top of a wood fire, a gas fireplace, or stove (medium heat) - see tips below.
Place the marshmallow on top of the chocolate ‘Bonfire’ graham cracker.
Place a plain ‘Bonfire’ graham cracker on top tomake a sandwich.
Enjoy!
Roasting tips
There are a few ways you can roast a marshmallow without a bonfire:
Broil them in the oven! Place marshmallows on a baking tray, turn the oven to ‘broil’, and place them on the top rack. Leave for a few minutes (until golden brown). Remove the baking tray carefully, turn the marshmallows over and repeat!
Use your stovetop. Place marshmallows on fire-safe sticks (not wood). Turn the flame on low and roast the marshmallow over the flame, turning as needed to get a golden result.
