Independence Day

Independence Day is celebrated on the 4th of July, commemorating the declaration of independence from the Britain monarch and the union of the thirteen states back in 1776.

Attend the 4th of July parade

Many spectators gather to watch bands, drum corps, floats, and military  march through the streets.

 

Get together for BBQ

Families and friends unite for red, white, and blue-themed outdoor celebrations featuring hamburgers, and hot dogs.

 

Watch the fireworks

We gather at parks, town squares, or other open spaces as night falls to watch the fireworks.
