Shavu'ot All-Nighter Puzzle
On Shavu’ot, there is a tradition of staying up all night to learn about Jewish ideas. The origin of this special all=nighter comes from a story about the morning the Israelites were to receive the Torah: they were so excited that they stayed up late the night before and overslept, almost missing their appointment with Moses/God. This annual all-nighter is called a Tikkun Neil Shavu’ot.
The Story of Ruth is a traditional text we read during Shavu’ot. (You can learn more about this connection here.) Our double-sided puzzle challenges you to piece together some new ideas while you assemble and read the story.

Gathering around the fire on Lag Ba’omer, we celebrate the sparks of wisdom revealed by Bar Yochai in the Zohar. Whether it’s a candle, a bonfire, or a fire pit, the flickering lights are like secrete messages from ancient Judean rebels.
This year, bring the spirit of a Lag Ba’Omer bonfire inside your home by creating your own kinetic artwork. Inspired by the work of Israeli artist Yaakov Agam, this optical art piece will glimmer and light up just by moving around it.
