Shabbat Shopping List
When you receive your box, we encourage you to take some time to become familiar with the projects and their components. To get the most out of your Shabbat box, make sure you have some ingredients handy for these delicious recipes:
White Chocolate Rainbow Challah
3 tsp instant yeast
1 tsp sugar
2 large eggs
3 egg yolks
1/3 cup honey
¼ cup olive oil (or preferred oil)
2 tsp sea salt
4 ½ - 6 cups flour, plus more for dusting
½ cup white chocolate chips
¼ cup rainbow sprinkles + 2 tbsp for egg wash
Stand mixer (optional)
1 medium white onion
2 carrots
2 parsnips
1 medium sweet potato
2 medium potatoes
2lb beef chuck
1 can (15.5oz) white beans
12 cloves garlic
2 cups dry red wine
1 bay leaf
1 tbsp paprika
½ tsp turmeric
Sea salt and pepper, to taste
Fresh parsley, to garnish
Large roasting pan or Dutch oven
4 cups mixed lettuce
1 green onion
1 stalk celery
½ cup snap peas halved
½ cup mixed herbs
¼ cup olive oil
2 tbsp lemon juice
1 tsp lemon zest
1 tsp Dijon mustard
½ tsp honey
Sea salt and pepper, to taste
1 bottle of red wine (or grape juice)
2 cups ginger ale
2 cups sparkling water
