Pomegranate Pixel-Art

INSTRUCTIONS

On Rosh Hashanah, we eat pomegranate seeds for a wealth of goodness. As one of the Seven Species of Israel, some say that pomegranates grow with their own tiny crowns, representing majesty and glory. Others suggest that each pomegranate contains 613 seeds, the same number of commandments in the Torah.

Shape the seeds as holiday symbols and add a splash of color to your ceremony. Do this just before the meal starts!

Makes: 3-4 plates
Active Time: 5 mins

  • ½ cup of pomegranate seeds

Preparation

  1. Place a Rosh Hashanah Food Shaper over a flat plate and fill it with one layer of pomegranate seeds. Make sure to fill all the gaps.
