Make Costume Ears
The story of Purim is full of hidden layers. To honor this theme, we dress up in costume and enjoy a day of masquerading.
This year, create your own whimsical costume ears to celebrate the holiday! We’ve included everything you need to craft three sets of ears. We hope this gear will spark your imagination to style a complete outfit. What type of costume will you make?

Assembly instructions
Follow along with these steps or watch our video tutorial to craft your own set of costume ears!
1 Organize the pieces by pairing the inner-ear and outer-ear shapes. Us the engravings to ensure each set is a perfect match. The holes along the bottom should align perfectly through both layers.
2 Remove the white film from the back of the smaller, inner-ear piece.
3 With the sticky side down, position the inn-ear, using the engravings to help with alignment. Then, press to adhere.
4 Use the fabric marker to add your own design details and patterns. Have fun and be creative! Looking for pattern inspiration? Check out these pattern suggestions:
5 Thread the headband through the openings using an over/under pattern.
6 Continue this weaving pattern until the ear is fully attached to the headband. Repeat with the other ear.
7 Push ears from one end to slide them into place on the headband.
8 Pinch and rotate the ears forward to position them for wearing.
