The Passover Meal
The Passover meal is served after 10 long steps of the Haggadah. While everyone has already eaten quite a lot it’s the moment everyone has been waiting for.
There are two main Kosher rules that can be kept (this is up to you):
Everyday Kosher - don’t mix meat and dairy, for example the dessert will not include butter or cream (which is where vegan desserts come in very handy!) and in a mashed potato one would substitute butter and cream with olive oil.
Passover Kosher - don’t eat chametz food: fermented wheat, rye, spelt, barley and oats.. so no bread, cookies and desserts using flour. Some also avoid Kitniyot - corn, rice, beans and lentils. The super observant eat only food that is certified Kosher for Passover, meaning that it is pure Kosher, and was not produced in the same facility with Chametz food.
Below are components of the meal, must have ingredient list.
