Wish upon a Star

Take everything out

Separate one strip of paper

On the smooth side, write a wish

Fold loosely

Make a knot

Flatten

Tuck

Fold over

along the edge of the Octagon

... and folding

almost done..

cut a long piece of thread

long enough to hang down

place it over the strip

fold over it

... and fold

...and fold

..and fold

and tuck!

!

voila!

now pinch to puff it up

two corners at a time

.. and pinch

.. and pinch

your star is ready!

tie it together with your other wishes

charge it under a light source (sun, or lamp)

hang it on our window and see it glow. You wishes will come true at midnight!
