What is Rosh HaShanah?

Rosh HaShanah is the Jewish New Year. It's about looking at the way we live our lives and redirecting ourselves towards our goals.  We make amends for mistakes we have made and commit ourselves to a positive future for ourselves and our world.  A communal holiday meal includes rituals that symbolize this intention.
